Gas-fueled Mazda as efficient as hybrids
Mazda Motor Corp. said Wednesday it will release a new gas-powered vehicle with about the same fuel efficiency as hybrids — about 30 km per liter. The automaker is to launch the new car, which will be added to its lineup of mainstay Demio subcompacts — known as the Mazda2 in overseas markets — in the first half of 2011, it said.
